Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) is an educational initiative of the National Center of Fathering and is funded by the PTA at Ashley Elementary.  Visit their website here.

This organization encourages fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and father-figures to volunteer for a day in their student's school.

Volunteers provide a positive male role model for students, demonstrating by their presence the importance of education.  They

also gain insight into their student's daily education by actively engaging with students in the classroom and beyond.

At Ashley, we offer numerous ways for you to be a part of the Watch DOGS program, including:

  • Half day or full day options

  • Availability on days that include grade-level field trips

  • Availability on days that include fun grade-level and school-wide programs funded by PTA

  • Evening opportunities for those who aren't able to participate during the school day
